Love Aheb Genesis 34:3
Today it is more worldly accepted to sleep with another person before marriage. But in many cultures in the past it was concidered not proper. In ancient times, marriages were arranged. Sometimes selected by the parents and mutual understanding or contract. In some countries or culture to this day having multiple wives is practiced. The New King James Version of the Bible describes Jacob's only daughter with Leah named Dinah being violated by a prince, Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite. Because he slept with her without before marriage. Shechem's love for Dinah an Israelite might have been true love for him but not for the future 12 tribes of Israel. This is how it is described in the book of Genesis chapter 34 verse 3 :
Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.
And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her and lay with her, and violated her.
His soul was strongly attracted to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the young woman and spoke kindly to the young woman.
So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying, “Get me this young woman as a wife.”
